Australian Sickle Cell Advocacy Inc (ASCA) Inc is an independent nonprofit organization devoted to providing support and representation for individuals affected by Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) in Australia. We operate as a registered charity with a Deductible Gift Recipient certificate (DGR Status).
Sickle Cell Disease transcends various multicultural groups and is recognized as a rare condition within Australia. Presently, it is estimated that over 1,000 Australians are living with this disease. Our overarching vision is to alleviate the impact of SCD on patients, as well as their families and caregivers.
